Did you get your flow rate dialed in perfectly first? If your perimeters are too wide or thin it will affect the dimensions. Also watch out for ribbing, misaligned layers and corner blobs when making measurements since those can make a difference when you get down to tenths of a mm.

i have the extruder almost perfect. set to .42 mm. Getting .41 to .43. I believe when you say ribbing your referring to the backlash of the z? If so yes i have the spring loaded anti backlash nut installed (was actually impressed at how well that worked). I don't think misaligned layers are an issue, straight walls look pretty good. i am getting some corner blobs though. How does one get rid of those?
