Topic: E3D Hotend mount for SD3 with active cooling fan (stock carriages)
I've been working on mashing up several designs as well as my own input to make a E3D hotend extruder mount for the SD3 that can:
1. Swap the hot end out quickly and easily
2. Allow for a 40mm fan to be used for active cooling
3. Be adaptable to the stock carriages and extruder motor
Note: I will eventually rearrange/fix my cables so that they go through the little cable guide from the motor side instead of threading the E3D's wires through. I also need to trim the length of them!
It uses a combination of a few designs, which I will outline when I get to uploading it to thingiverse. (Big thanks to Lawsy though for letting me chop up his designs) I only lack redesigning the top filament guide piece so that it matches the new setup. I also need to print the active cooling fan hood and attach it, but that should be pretty straightforward. Let me know what you think/if you want to make it! (Also if it looks like it won't work/will melt)
