I'm amazed, astounded and seriously grateful.
but at the same time very confused as to how this has shipped so far out of whack! -and also predict that this will leave more than a few people rather annoyed.

What is really disappointing is that they cannot just state what printers are currently being worked on by invoice. This would at least stop some inquiries to their PR people and allow people to estimate their own date. I believe I have been patient but I am currently well over the four month mark and am getting annoyed with the lack of information coming out of the company. I paid based upon a 6-8 week estimate and then get railroaded into 22 weeks? Knowing what I know now, I am not sure I would have purchased this printer and instead would have spent a little more on another printer that I could have gotten months ago.

I was 21 days away from out.
In the UK the time limit for credit card charge back is 120 days. At day 119 I'd have pulled the money back.
There is a chance I'd have ordered again, got 120 days more protection, but I'd have never left myself without the cover that the card company provides.

As I said I'm chuffed that mine has shipped, but really confused as to how/why it's shipped when it has.

For US customers, I believe you only have 90 days "protection" on your card payments?

Latest shipping update says July orders should begin Nov 8th, and take 3 weeks.
8th (start), 15th (1 week), 22nd (2 weeks) , 29th (3 weeks)... So August orders should begin Around Nov 29, not Nov 22. The 22nd would only be 2 weeks to build them....Always optimistic, aren't they

Hopefully my July order will be in by Thanksgiving. It would suck to be delayed by the holidays

Do you know the percentage of start ups that fail in the first year alone?! (and it's higher than usual thanks to the "economic climate".

I never thought that the guys running the show would want to intentionally scam me, I thought *if* the company went bust, I'd be very low down on the list of priority creditors.
Bank, card companies, employees wages, insolvency lawyer fees... I'd probably end up with around $100 of the $700 I spent... however, if my payment is within the 120 days of the payment date my payment is protected by the card companies insurance, (i.e I'll be guaranteed 100% of the money -regardless of what happens with the actual company).

It's still the case that they should never really be taking payment before they are ready to ship the goods, (but there's not a lot that can be done about that now).

I wasn´t going to post anything yet because it is not in my hands. But mine has in fact shipped, and I do have the tracking number saying that it is in PA now. Should be here by Monday afternoon apparently.

Congrats! And mine should also get to me on Monday, as per UPS. But what I wanted to know is, how do I know if the roll of filament I ordered was shipped also. UPS shows a weight of 15 lbs, but I don't know the weight of printer alone. I emailed support yesterday afternoon but they have not gotten back to me.
