1605 changed to shipped. 5/24/12 order date.
What was your invoice Number?
723. I don't know the exact date it shipped, some time between Thursday and today.
For those of you who have already had your Solidoodle shipped a while back, can we expect an email confirmation when it leaves the building along with a tracking number?
Pretenda, I got an email when my status was changed to shipped, but I had to email and ask for a tracking number.
They shipped usps though to me in canada which means the tracking is usually never accurate or updated.
I didn't get any email whatsoever. I emailed them to get a tracking number.
Thanks everyone, will ask for a tracking number.
Yeah, I don't think the problem lies in this thread...
I meant that ignorance is bliss.
it's getting to the stage where I'm just checking either the google groups or this forum only to find out how production is going, any updates on when I'll get my printer.
then it turns out that the only updates are further delays...
Eta's are guesstimates not promises, you will get you printers that's a promise, but you have to understand that when a start-up company is swamped with orders you will have delay's.
it's past that stage now.
I know that the original 8-10 weeks times aren't going to be made, and that it kind of OK. but pretty much since the week after I made my order all anyone has heard from support is, we're going great it's all looking good.
followed by broken promises, missed deadlines and excuses.
Why is it left to forums to give more realistic estimates than the actual manufacturer can give regarding delivery times!?
the last update that I got from support was:
Sent: Friday, 28 September 2012, 14:39
Subject: Re: Estimated delivery time
Daniel,I'm giving you a rough estimate. We will start shipping orders from July by October 15. This is a rough estimate. It could take us less time now that our staff has increased and production line times are increased.

Clifford

basically in the past two weeks their delivery schedule slipped by a month? then haven't even started shipping June orders yet!
though having said that, given the frequency of their "weekly" updates on the blog, it's little wonder that they can promise "it's two weeks away", they clearly have no idea about the length of a week.
Printer number 723 was shipped last week.
My number is 803. So I'm quite shure they will start shipping June Orders this week.
I ordered May 31.
hello i'm waiting my Solidoodler print since July ?
can you give me some information beacuse i want to create with my Print 3D ![]()
thank you for information
Missmacosx, Unfortunately you might be waiting a while longer yet. Mine has only just shipped in the last few days and I ordered mine in May. They should be starting the June orders any day now, if they haven't started already.
Hi all,
I just registered to the forum to tell you that I contacted support regarding shipping. I asked them to post the reviewed estimates that they've been promising for the last month. They replied (very quickly, to be fair I have to say that I never had problems with them in this respect) that they apologize, they experienced "growing pains of a small company", but my order (6th of July, #1210 if this number should be believed) "will be shipped within the next 10 days". I hope that this estimate is based on some actual numbers and not just wishful thinking from their side.
I wouldn't really care much if the days were 10 or 100, but the constant shifting really pisses me off...
I really hope that they will finally post some fair estimates on their blog, it would definitely calm everybody down.
Best,
Francesco

They only just started shipping june orders, so if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath. I can't believe they keep making these ridiculous promises.

My order info: Invoice 1067 June 25
From Support yesterday:
" It will be another 2 weeks. We will start shipping June orders in full capacity this week. Please let us know if you have any other questions."

They must be sick of my bitching.
contrary to what's been said here about June orders taking the next three weeks and July orders starting to ship in November...
my order status went from pending to shipped this morning.
my mid July order...
for my sake I hope this is right, so the sake of fairness, I kind of hope it's just an error
you can´t be talking about a SOLIDOODLE order?!
you mean that your PRINTER is marked as shipped that you ordered in July? can we get some invoice numbers and order numbers for our eager eyes?
Gaa! I've ordered July 3rd. Solidoodle what is up with your shipping?!?!?! I am going to start bitching now to let you know I would like my printer in the order that you received my order, and provide us with an actual shipping plan update!!! Great that you had an awesome time at maker faire, but seriously, why say you are going to do an update and not follow through? If you say you are shipping both June and July orders this month simultaneously, you must give us an update like you said you would so we don't get upset when we see conflicting emails like this!! I will understand if you have half the worker working on June, the other July orders, if you just tell us you are doing that! Otherwise we see someone is told a July 6th is shipping this week, June orders will start, and Danny will get his printer before all of June orders! What the heck!!!
Order ID 1723 shows as shipped! Must've updated sometime around noon today. Woot!
you can´t be talking about a SOLIDOODLE order?!

I shit you not and indeed I am.
1x pro machine $598
1x filament $43
1x shipping international $96.15 (total 737.15 as shown below). - shipping doesn't count as an item, which is why it says two items for that much.

If I receive my order out of sync, with the rest, then I'm going to be in a difficult position.
solidoodle as a company will have fulfilled their "contract" with me and I'll have nothing to complain about, but at the same time they'll have shipped things out of order and let down one guy who should have the printer that will hopefully arrive to me...
so, I can't complain, but would see something to complain about. (my head may explode!)
Four things though.
Firstly, this is seemingly likely to be a mistake, support have been in here saying that June hasn't started shipping yet that it will hopefully start next week, and will take three weeks from when it starts.
(so it should have been around November 5th by the time July orders started shipping.)
It should have been the end of November by the time July orders finished shipping.
Secondly.
If it's not a mistake,
then there could be a number of reasons why machines may ship out of order, support have said something before about assigning serial numbers to orders before they are produced. so maybe it's that this machine has been ordered, assigned to a person and that person has jumped ship. maybe I'm the next on the list that was not yet assigned a serial number, and have hit some kind of awesome jackpot.
Thirdly,
It's extraordinarily unlikely that a factory full of people thousands of miles away from me have decided to change their industrial processes because I've had a little rant. -so I doubt that ranting at support will help.
Fourthly.
a bit of text on a web page is not a printer in my hands.
it should take a couple of weeks before I actually get the printer. -it has to leave the factory, traverse the Atlantic, get poked by customs, get handed to the royal mail, they have to send me a letter saying go pay the import fees. and when I've done that... - well that is when I'll be happy that I've actually got the printer!
it is possible that they just shipped the filament. When I click on View, the status line at the bottom of my order shows the tracking number for my shipped order. I received mine quite a while ago. Unless they changed their process, you should be able to see it as well. If you look up hte tracking number on the shipping company's website, you should be able to see the weight of the package. It should be a significant weight to accomodate the Solidoodle along with the filament. If it is a couple pounds, it is probably just the filament.
Still waiting...

Danny,
If indeed yours did ship, consider yourself fortunate. Not that I mind the wait, but it seems to imply that the "squeeky wheel gets the grease."
Happy for you, mate, and may we all be printing well soon.
If I were support I would have sent you an email and said "We'll make you a deal, we'll ship yours out of order if you promise to keep it quiet and stop the ranting because you're potentially costing us sales, and as a startup company trying to make it in a competitive marketplace, we can't afford to lose sales."
Then I would have crossed my fingers and hoped you didn't post my email to the forum.
But that's just me.
Guys, is it possible (although unlikely) that all the orders before danny's were for "expert" models (mine is) and they ran out of cases so they are shipping the "naked" (=pro and basic) printers first? They just replied to a complaint of mine that some delays are due to suppliers not delivering them items... I don't believe it's a response to complaints, I should be printing for months now if those worked ![]()
