Topic: Wont Stop Heating

My extruder won't stop heating up.  I have it set at 195, and it gets over 220.  It has already melted the peek pipe.  I have a spare hot end but I don't want to put it in until it stops heating past the setting.

Any ideas?

Re: Wont Stop Heating

For me it was a bad mosfet. I switch the ones for the bed and the hotend on the board since they are the same mosfet.

Re: Wont Stop Heating

I fixed my melted peek with a 6mm helicoil from an auto parts store.
