unfortunately, you have a davinci jr 1.0. XYZware it said I had 0% filament left even though their is visibly about half the role is totally normal. Buy an new roll of filament will fix the problem.
XYZware calculate much much filament you want the printer to print, not the actual filament you used. Normally, if all your print are successful, you get about 20% or less filament left. If you have cancel or unfinished print, you get more left.
If you are ok with it, just keep buying more filament at slightly higher price (about 4X unit price), you will get the model you want to print, and if you only print occasionally, it save you a lots of trouble. you can still use the filament if you got one of the 3D printer pen to glue of fix your prints.
If you don't like it, and your printer still under warranty, return it.
If you don't like it, and your printer not under warranty, sell it on ebay for half of the price, trust me, you saved a lot of money by doing so if you use the printer a lot.
