Got my Filastruder fully assembled, loaded hopper and performed PID autotuning. The cool part is that the autotuning completed exactly 10 mins after reaching temp. However, the pipe rotated 15 degrees, forcing me to shut the motor off as stated in the instructions. I let the heat sit for another 5 minutes, turned the motor back on, and got 1/2" of filament!!!....until the pipe rotated about 30 degrees.
So with the hopper sitting at a 45 degree angle, I shut it all down. Under the theory that it may be from not tightening the pipe enough during assembly, I removed heating band/thermistor/flange bolts, but the cooled material inside will not allow me to slide the front pipe/flange assembly out.
Is my theory correct that it is entirely mechanical?
Also, should I heat it back up before attempting to tighten or loosen?
