Topic: May not be a real issue, Z limit switch

I just noticed that when I home the Z axis, it used to home then sort of bounce off the switch and then home for real. Now it just  stops dead when it hits the switch.

Did you end up resolving this issue?

Have you updated your printer firmware or repetier since it stopped doing that? I'm not sure which one handles the specific steps in the homing sequence, but whichever one it is probably changed. The sequence usually homes an axis at a faster speed and then slows down and homes again for accuracy.
