Topic: Solidoodle 2 Wavey/ blobby prints

Hi all,
Recently my Solidoodle has been printing some wavy lines. It seems to be doing this on both X and Y, so I don't think it's either of these steppers (It'd be unlikely for both to be messed up, right?) . I don't think it's over-extruding, as I've calibrated the extrusion rate, and infills are nice. I've also calibrated and checked Vrefs on all motors, and cleaned and rebuild my extruder (E3D v5). And so I'm stumped on where to go from here.

Attached files,
Third one shows a nice old print. All straight and cool.
Second and first show the problem. Wavey wavey.

Any ideas chaps?

First thing is to ensure your E3d is mounted securely and can't slide up and down in the mount.
Second would be to make sure the Teflon blocks on rear X-axis rod don't have a bunch of extra play.
Third and most important would be to eliminate that terrible Moire that you have via adjustment of the extruder VREF wink
I know you said you've already done that but it wouldn't hurt to try again.  Start a print and adjust it until you get back to your nice straight lines you are used to.
