Topic: Mythbuster moment :)
I had a totally Mythbuster moment the other day. I was playing with acetone vapors for smoothing my 3D prints and left the heat on way too long and when I opened the lid WOOSH, flame!
First thing after realizing no big deal as the flame dissipated in the air was thinking of the Mythbuster line "Am I missing an eyebrow?".
Just a FYI, no harm was done and I know what I did wrong. In a way it was totally cool, but I don’t want to repeat it.
Don't worry folks, I had good ventilation and all. My mistake was trying to use the "presto part finisher" a second time shortly after the first set, probably not enough time to let the other dissipate and too much heat.
The prints were just fine FYI. ![]()
