Topic: Nozzle Fan question
Ok I have an E3Dv5 setup on a MK5. I like printing in PLA so I hear a nozzle fan is good. How I wired my E3D fan was off a seperate power source so that fan is on always. Can I run a nozzle fan off that same power source or does the fan have to be gcode controlled? I am trying to not slice open my wires because, I'm just not good with wiring (ask wardjr hehe)
I have a 12volt seperate power source, and an extra 30 mm fan and red and black wires (I have some red snap connectors which I haveno idea how to use though lol). I presume somewhere on thingaverse there is a mount for a E3Dv5 with an extra 30mm nozzle fan.
