Topic: Dial indicator question

I have never used one, so my possibly-stupid question is as follows:
Can I use a dial indicator for z height? I ask because I am testing out some new print surfaces and would like to record height settings on each for faster adjustments.

I understand most use them for bed leveling, but is this a capital idea or should I just save my cash?

Re: Dial indicator question

That's what I was thinking. I'm just trying to swap different print surfaces as lazy as possible.

I will have to open an off shore bank account to slide the board and dog past the wife big_smile
