Topic: Bad Cold Jam/Clog

Left the room for an hour during a 7 hour print and came back to this....(image attached)

Tried pushing with a hex tool but its expanded really good into little balls in the acrylic.  I am guessing my only option is to take the thing apart.  The extruder itself is not clogged because when i heat it up i am getting some filament or at least was getting whatever was left in the nose.  I was also thinking about getting a long fine drill bit, but i don't know how far down the clog goes.

I had a similar clog and ended up taking the acrylic apart to clear it.

Re: Bad Cold Jam/Clog

took about an hour but a 1/16 extended pilot bit was able to drill through.  Along with a little scrapping with a metal wire I was able to clear it all out.  deff won't be leaving my printer on its own for a while
