Topic: Set screw for Extruder Gear

Anyone know what the size is for the set screw on the Extruder gear?

My Mk4 assembly is a bit off for feeding into the hot end and I think this is causing some of my extrusion issues.

If you mean the driver size for the setscrew it is 1.5mm

When you find an allen key for it you might have to work it in there as SD puts cyanoacrylate on the threads to lock them and sometimes a little bit gets inside the setscrew.

I just noticed... LOL...

I can get the hex in fine, but turning it is going to take some rocking to crack the glue.

Guess I'm going to have to put some back in when I get it into position.

I've never needed any.

I never put any threadlocker on when I put them back together either.. but then again I also put a flat spot on the stepper shaft so the setscrew would lock down better.
