Topic: How to disassemble and break the extruder
Hi all!
After a couple of happy months with the SD3 we diagnosed a hot clog:(
Tried to remove it by using a thin wire, but that didn't solve the problem:/
I was going to warm up the barrel to burn out bad ABS.
But ABS had emerged out between the PEEK and the brass barrel, so it was really stuck. This caused a slight problem when trying to disassemble it. This video show the process:

I think the clog was caused by a hot extruder without filament throughput. Any extruder heating guidelines?
Should extruder heat always be turned off between prints (2-5min)?
