I found the stock extruder severly lacking with an E3D and eventually replaced it with this ..... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1723817

Re: Davinci 10 A

you faced the same thing i am finding no replacement and not many options i will give the up grade a try but the reason i am looking for a fix is that my extruder pinch wheel is sticking so don't know how i am going to print these parts thanks for the info.

that one looks like the one on thingiverse i managed to cobble my printer together and print those parts i'll see how they work out and if they don't i will give that one a try i just ordered the bearing for it so that's why i want to try it at least, question did you have to adjust the filament feed rate reason i ask is i see that unit comes with a new feed gear thanks

Note that I have a Jr, but I just slapped it together and went.  No changes necessary as I used my old stepper motor.  Now you do have to pay attention to left and right models, otherwise you will need to rewire the stepper motor connector.

If you go this route, let me know if you have any questions.

I'm a big fan of Dan Brown and I read almost all of his novels. Recently I read The Da Vinci Code (actually I read it online on RYP ebook), I have one question, is all recommended about him true?
