Topic: Sealing at Heatblock fell off

Hello guys,

my loved Solidoodle 4 clogged for the first time a few days earlier. So i took it apart and cleaned the nozzle. But while i was reassembling the nozzle  the "sealing" (i don't know how this is exactly called) between the heat block and the cables just fell apart...

But i don't know if i have to replace this or if i'm able to print without this sealing. You can see it in the picture below.
I tried to search for this but i got no results.

It would be great if you could say if it's safe to print smile

Re: Sealing at Heatblock fell off

Should be fine, that's just fire cement.  So if you really wanted to fix it, a trip to Home Depot is all you'd need.

Printit Industries Model 8.10 fully enclosed CoreXY, Chamber heat
3-SD3's & a Workbench all fully enclosed, RH-Slic3r Win7pro, E3D V6, Volcano & Cyclops Hot End
SSR/500W AC Heated Glass Bed, Linear bearings on SS rods. Direct Drive Y-axis, BulldogXL
Thanks to all for your contributions

Re: Sealing at Heatblock fell off

watch the temperatures closely. if it is oscillating and not maintaining temperature, you need to run a PID autotune.
