Well, guys (and ladies), what I have learned today is that the Solidoodle printer is actually a prototype that is sold so that people can "tinker"with them for hours on end. SOOOOO...in that light, I'll take my lumps, recalibrate my expectations, and go to bed. I'll tackle this when I have time. Personally, I'm too busy to spend hours on end "playing". I just want a product that works. A little rewording of the sales pitch is in order. No doubt it's a tinkerer's dream, so all in all it's a cool product...just not completely reliable.
In that light, I shall "calm myself" as someone suggested, swallow my $650, and play with my "toy" now and again. Meanwhile, I need to look for a product that actually produces things in a reliable and timely manner as I have some deadlines to keep...
I'll play later...back to the "real" world, lol!
Thanks for all the input! Y'all all rock!
Sincerely,
Kev
