I went through exactly the same process you are now, up to days before receiving my printer. I finally decided that trying to get a refund would take even longer than it did to get my printer. At this point, the reasons I bought THIS printer over others are still valid. I have been somewhat surprised by the results of the stock set-up. You may be able to save some money sending (some) of that stuff back once you see it run.
Don't get me wrong, I would not say I am exactly "happy" with my experience with Solidoodle. Once I got my machine, I am much closer. Hang in there, waiting a little longer is better than the alternative of trying to get your money back and going out and trying to buy something else all over again.
hostinggeek wrote:My workbench is due to ship next week. Even after waiting this long, I'm considering cancelling. It kind of bothers me that SD didn't have soliryan post something in here. I have over $300 in parts ordered to replace things i'm expecting to be wrong on my brand new printer. They refuse to send me stl's to print my own replacement parts. I have buyers remorse, and i dont have my printer yet.
Sucks.
