Topic: 17 Nema Hybrid extruder motor?

So putting an E3D v6 in and the mounts for it come out a little to far no bigge I will just move the little feeder on the end of the motor over right? Wrong the bolt stripped out.... So I was going to but a Nema 17 hybrid there instead (Have the parts from another project) But it is a 6 wire.. Is there anyway to wire it up to a 4 pin?

Thanks..

SD4, Glass bed,(Soon to have) E3D v6, MK5 extruder

Re: 17 Nema Hybrid extruder motor?

Should not be a problem. Pull up the datasheet on your motor.
there are two ways to wire it either way you only use 4 wires, .
here is the data sheet from  my motors from another project to give you an idea.
