Re: Y-axis belt slipping
So I don't take over the other thread about the replacement carriages...
I am still getting Y-axis shift even adjusting VREF, with fan pointing at board (tiny 3 inch fan), realigning etc.
Seems it can go a prints without skipping after I re-adjust everything and the it starts creeping back. Objects that take up less of the bed seem far less likely to skip.
Right now my skipping is miniminal (when it happens) but enough that is displaces the print once or twice midway and is driving me nuts.
Reading the top of the thread, I haven't yet taken the carriages off and cleaned them with soap and water. Not sure how I missed that. Well I guess I should try that next.
