Hi eflyguy, Iam slimstar2 . I have had my SD3 since Xmas . the way I tightened up my printer ( X and Y shafts) was to print the heavier pulley mounts found in the forum then drill out the ends of the pulleys with a 5/16 drill bit in a drill press then insert 8 mm x 5mm x 3mm bearings into the pulleys then reassemble as was with original nuts and bolts . I haven't had to readjust belts in months . As for the Y shaft at the back of the case I replaced the bushings with bearings. I just pressed the bushings out with a bolt and nut and some washers, and reversed them to press new bearings in. I did have to polish the rear shaft with a little sand paper and elbow grease to make bearing slide on . I got all to bearings from Bocabearings .com . I haven't had to adjust anything in months and I get nice round circles. As shown in 1 of the pictures I did have to grind just a little off of the X pulley for clearance on the LM8UU bearings I used in Lawsy's carriage upgrade. Last photo was just to show nice clean circles. Hope this helps . And may the force be with you.
