Topic: Z axis not moving enough

Just printed a part and it is about half as tall as it should be. X and Y seem fine.

Have checked EEPROM and it is correct.

I have installed an M5 Z axis and set up correctly months ago. I have just installed a gcode controlled fan which involved reflashing firmware and now it is doing this.

Any ideas?

Yep go back and change your steps in EEPROM.  When you re flash it goes back to what is in the firmware.
