Topic: OSX, drivers, and Repetier Host
Hi Guys,
Need some brainpower on this one.
I want to run my Solidoodle 3 from my Macbook Pro. Went to the solidoodle page, downloaded RH, and installed it. The way the SD pages were configured, I totally missed that OSX users have to install the driver first ![]()
Played with RH for a few hours before reviewing my the SD pages again. During that time, whenever I would connect, I would get 5 commands backed up and no control over the SD3.
Downloaded the driver and tried to connect. Again, I get the same 5 commands waiting to be sent to the printer, and no connection.
Has anyone had this happen before? Did I make a fatal mistake in installing? I can run the machine off an old PC laptop, so I know that it connects, just won't do so with my mac.
I would like to get this working so I can do a firmware update, but after this I am beginning to wonder if its a good idea.
