Topic: Need E3D help

Have sd2. Installed  mk4/ e3d / updated to repieter  vo.90c.  I was running older version that was out jan 13.   Before firmware update it said to make sure printer manual controls work.
None of x and y  and z buttons work but home buttons work. ,  any ideas?  Plus. The the  fan motor and shroud is loose on e3d .  How do they tighten those up so they don't swivel around.
The e3d fit pretty good into mk4 but will have to do a z stop extender .

Re: Need E3D help

I noticed sometimes  that the x/y wont work til I heat the bed a bit, have you tried that? If you can get it to work, print the MK5. it has tabs on both sides ,rt side is for x stop screw. put a screw on the left. That stopped the fan shroud from spinning

SD3, E3D hotend, linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

Didn't work.    Maybe it's repieter  and the update I did. I'll put all my stls in a folder and reinstall
How much would you charge me for a mk5

Re: Z-Stop Just put the screw in from the bottom.
Re: Loose fan shroud If it bothers you put a small hole in each side near the rear of the shroud and run a wire through and twist the ends together.

Re: Need E3D help

Still haven't  got control of repetier yet.  Only home buttons. I cant turn my bed heater on.  I uninstalled repetier and reinstalled 09.5. And still have same problem.  When I changed to e3d I didn't change anything on board. I used same cord on power supply when  I changed that out also
