Topic: Slicer stalling

this is getting to be very annoying. anytime i tell slic3r to slice a model that is the tinyest bit complicated it stalls on the last part "exporting Gcode to blah blah blah"  it wont finnish slicing. in small simple stuff it slices fine but the bulldog linar carrriage for exaple its been sitting for an hour on the last step of slicing... its been doing thissince i upgraded to 95F

Re: Slicer stalling

That's odd how many perimeters do you have it set for.  The problem may be in the support I designed, that support was designed at .42 so if your extrusion is set to .48 that might be causing your problem.  Since it is designed in support the slicer doesn't treat it as support.

Re: Slicer stalling

I had similar issue and had to turn off "AVOID CROSSING PERIMETERS" as it seemed to cause slic3r to hang.

No problem.  There are several issues already posted on the Github for Slic3r already - Ho[e it is fixed in the next release.

Re: Slicer stalling

Slic3r 1.0.0 RC2 is out and is in my opinion many times better than any of the older versions.  There are very few rough edges left on the new release, and the speed boost alone makes it worth the upgrade.
