Topic: Skeinforge (50) help

I have been trying to configure a profile for Skeinforge for my SD3.  I have been printing a single wall test square, the same one I used for Slic3r.  I have been able to adjust the speed and flow to get the correct wall thickness of .45mm for a .3mm layer height.  My problem is it creates a blob of plastic at the start of each level.  Slic3r does not do this.  What setting can I use to correct this?  I have attached a picture.

Why are you trying to use Skeinforge?  It's getting a bit obsolete compared to Slic3r, KISSlicer and Cura.

Re: Skeinforge (50) help

I am trying to print a Star Wars Ship and Slic3r is printing it as a block. Skeinforge slices it up fairly well (I guess it repairs the hole in the .stl that Slic3r found) but I want to make sure I am printing my calibration pieces well before I start printing with it. I figured out the blob is caused by not having jitter on.  Once I turn that on I have the issue attached though.  Is KISSlicer or cura easy to set up on a Mac?
