Rumba Controller Switchover?

Okay, So I shorted my Rev-E Motherboard back before christmas and STILL have not recieved a replacement from them.  It is beyond aggravating.  So I figured I might as well make some improvements!  I have done a LITTLE Research, and so far I think im going to go with the Rumba.  Is this going to basically just be plug in, install drivers, and play?  I would love to get back to printing ASAP.  Any help/advice/suggestions are definitely welcome!  Thanks!
