Topic: Solidoodle 2 Prints have bumps, gaps

Hi guys,

All of my prints seem to have bumps all over them on every layer change and on the outer perimeter. I don't think retraction is the issue, during the print you can hear it retracting quite aggressively.

.3mm Layer height, gcode looks ok, Slic3r

Any help would be appreciated! I am going to try adjusting z tab.

are you using any infill?  how many perimeters?

Hi eogra7, the ztab is just for the starting layer, your issue looks more like either bonding or lacking enough perimeters for curved shapes with that amount of overhang I would suggest at a minumum 4 perimeters for .3z layers.
