Topic: Slic3r 1.0.0RC1 is out
Surprised nobody has posted already, but it's out (as of Nov 19?) and supposed to fix support settings (haven't tried yet).

in the french section it has been posted ![]()
I can't seem to get Repetier 0.85 to work with this by pointing at it. Are there any software solutions with 1.0 built-in?
strange... i do it each time and had no problem even with the last version ( i use the x64 version)..
Adrian wrote a good write up for compiling it. ^_^. Has been posted

The release is out and can be downloaded. No need to compile the dev version anymore.

Although RC1 has bugs that are fixed in dev version... so its actually better to still use dev version as RC2 is a little ways off...
And then the dev version will have fixed bugs in RC2. ..
So still worth maintaining the Dev builds... but horses for courses
I am using it. One odd thing I noticed is that on the manual tab it used to show the print progress. Now i don't see. It
does show a blue line on the right edge of the platform and another line perpendicular to it.
There is a bug in the opengl libs in 1.0RC1... workaround is using a different .Dll on building. If you don't build dev builds, then it should be fixed again in RC2.
Effects win7/8 64 bit specifically, but has been seen elsewhere. .
Umm it seems not to be a function of sli3r1.0.0RC1, I went back to .9.9 and same issue as before. I just didn't notice it after I updated the firmware til now. Could that be it? Anybody else have this issue?
https://github.com/alexrj/Slic3r/issues/1540 was what I was referencing.
I got it working.
I couldn't get it to work by unpacking it in its own directory, and pointing Repetier to it with the "Setup" link.
What I did instead was backup the copy of Slic3r in the Repetier folder, then unzip directly there. Works good, but I'm getting some missing support material under solid geometry.
