Re: Extreme Curling Issue.
I did see a reprap web page somewhere that recommended sugar water to get things to stick (probably a good way to get more bugs in your system).

I'm having a very similar problem and I think it's due to the bed being warped. In fact Im sure of it.
I notice you are using like 1/16" / 2.3mm glass. It will flex when clipped to the bed. I even removed the tape on the bed to be sure this was the problem. I can slide a card under evenly at all corners but the center I can not, i have to force the card under. So either the rods are warped or the bed is warped. It looks like the bed to me. So my plan is to get thicker glass.
I think it's pretty ridiculous to sell a product with this sort of issue. My extruder fan also makes loud screeching sounds half the time. I just sent an email about this today so we will see what they say.

in any way, were you thinking about iron cast pans?lol.
I doubt you would get much warping with those materials.
LOL rocketman will believe you too.. or were you being serious?

Not about the Solidoodle, but a cast iron skillet seasoned with bacon grease might be worth considering for this printer -
