Topic: Solidoodle Nozzle question

I've been offered a nozzle with a larger bore, but it's from a Replicator 2 I believe. Is the nozzle interchangeable/compatible?

The wiki makes it look a bit of a pain to swap over? Thoughts on this?

The reason I'm doing it to enable less clog prone printing of filaments such as Laywood.

You'll have to redo some slic3r settings at the very least. Can't say I've tried a replicator nozzle myself. It may not be compatible with the threading of our brass barrel.

Do you offer nozzles in larger bores than .40mm ? On your site I could only see one size listed. I'd probably be willing to buy a complete hot-end if I could get a different nozzle on it.

The nozzles at Makergear.com are compatible, and they have a .5.  http://www.makergear.com/products/nozzles
