Topic: Finally got my hot end back

And its printing like crap
sigh

when i got it back the alignment holes were off for the jugsaw end soi gad to work on the wood piece on th end toelongate one of the holes so it would fit. after that and i got it back together i noticed the rubberized insulation cane off and i hope to godi've got that int he right place

i've been readjusting and now what i get is crap.

Might need to re run the PID calibration.

well i just measured the rate that the filament is estruding and i'm getting 65mm when i ask for 50 also i have filament coming out at the bottom of where the peek and the barrellmeets. i'm thinking i'm getting back preasure and not sure how. it extrudes fine when not on the bed sigh

I have to now figure out how to change the filament feed in repetier host

oh I see I'm not  the only one that got a new hot end from SD and is having issues.I also  have filament coming out at the bottom of where the peek and the barrell meets . When that happens to me , the filament backs up in a tangled mess. Another thing , was the PTFE flush with the top of the peek when you got it? Mine "was" then after a bit it rose up about a sixteenth of an inch. When I 1st got my SD3 all was well, it was well til the heater  died. I did get a replacement but have had trouble ever since.

Now i have plastic coming out where the peek and the barrel merge solidoodle wants me to use pliars to screw the barrel back in with pliers while its as"hot as possible"
