Topic: SD3 Noob: 0.1 mm Flow calibration question

Hello,

After many hours of tweaking, I was able to get close to a descent 0.3mm prints.  At 0.1mm it seems like there is an excess filament being extruded.

Do I need to perform the same flow rate calibration I did for 0.3mm but for 0.1mm?

Thank you in advance for your help,

CB

Re: SD3 Noob: 0.1 mm Flow calibration question

It looks to me like your bed height is a bit to high and material is squishing out. Also, your skirt isn't even showing. How did you adjust the flow? If you did it in firmware then no, you won't have to change anything anymore. Its tough to get good prints on .1 without a fan. I recently added the extruder fan and I wonder why I waited so long.

I adjusted the extruder using R/H EEPROM parameter and then the flow by printing the box, measuring the wall and adjusting the multiplier.
