Topic: Hot End Not Heating

My printers hot end was not heating so I checked the voltage of the white leads on my mother board and my multimeter showed no voltage. Has any had this problem?

Re: Hot End Not Heating

It's a common problem with the black connectors, they're very poor quality.
I removed mine and soldered the wires together.

Re: Hot End Not Heating

If you're not getting voltage at the motherboard, its not a problem with the connectors. I've recently encountered the same problem as the OP but haven't had a chance to work it through. I read somewhere that it may be a blown inline fuse... they look like a real PIA to replace. This is happening on a 1.0A... is that the same model you have jamp2112?

Ah, didn't spot the bit about the mainboard.
Probably not the connectors then.
