Topic: Has any one seen this before?

I am was printing a new carriage for the DaVinci and it failed twice in a strange way.

As you can see the X axis all of a sudden starting printing exactly 25mm off. the Y was fine. Both prints did this at almost the exact some or the exact same layer. I also re-sliced it between prints, and even added other prints to the print bed. So I don't know if is an error with the .STL or if my printer is messing it up. What do you guys think?

Perhaps a model issue and run it through netfabb?

I am unfamiliar with netfabb. Is it a model repair tool?

Are you running stock firmware or reflashed with repetier?  Here is a link of other users with the same problem.  It seems to be a problem with some of the stepper motor wires.   http://voltivo.com/forum/davinci-peersu … port-group

I agree it could the wires but here is a link the online netfab model repair service.  Sometimes it helps to correct stubborn models.
