Topic: Installed an E3D Hotend and PT100 Thermocouple cant go above 312C

Hello all, I have a Solidoodle 3 with the PrintrBoard Mobo.  I upgraded the hot end to an E3D v6.  I upgraded the powersupply to the recommended 360w PS from Amazon.  I installed a PT100 thermocouple with the e3d interfacing kit.  I flashed it with the firmware.

Everything works great under 310C but the temp seems to just taper off and plateau at 311C.

Any ideas on how i can get it to output at 400C?

Thanks

Printing PEEK.  Mainly just evaluating different blends of PEEK for 3D printing, like will it even come out of the nozzle evaluations.  Thanks!

What color are your heater wires?

Also PEEK is quite difficult to print, requires a 200C heated bed and ideally a 150C heated enclosure.

I've seen this post on 3 different message boards. Spreading out the discussion makes it hard to have consolidated answers for a search.

I will be updating each one with my solution, the 40W heater element and the walkthough to do the upgrade.  Since there isnt a ton of information on the upgrade I wanted to write a walkthrough so no one has to do what I did.

Thanks for the help elmoret!
