This is for the Printrboard. It is crucial to be sure which board you have. If it is a stock board, the SD2 either has a Sanguinololou or a Printrboard. The given link is not recommended for the Sang.

Printit Mason and Printit Horizon printers
Multiple SD2s- Bulldog XL, E3D v5/v6/Lite6, Volcano, Hobb Goblin, Titan, .9 motor, Lawsy carriages, direct Y drive, fishing line...the list goes on
Filawinder and Filastruder #1870.....worth every penny!

Re: Help

Thank You How i can check the board  the i have is anyway to find out

Re: Help

Printrboards are labeled as such on the board. Sanguinololus have a big chip the size of a stick of gum.

Re: Help

Now that I have a few moments, I dug up an old post I make on another thread.

Flashing the firmware will be a slightly different process depending on which board you have:

This link will give you all steps needed if you have a Printrboard.
I have never needed to flash a Sang, so maybe another user can assist you with that, but the changes in the firmware in the given link are the same no matter the board.
Hope this helps a bit smile

Yes, you have a Sanguinololu, same as me. (I got your email, will reply soon). I'll post a guide to flashing a Sang once I get to a computer.

Re: Help

http://www.soliwiki.com/E3D_extruder is a walkthrough for assembly of the E3D. This was aimed for the v4/v5, so ignore the assembly instructions and follow the Tom's video I linked above. This Soliwiki link gives instructions for flashing the Sang.

The instructions I linked earlier are for the Printrboard only. So please do not follow it for your sake smile

Use that link for firmware updating and post here if you get stuck.

Re: Help

Thank You guy's i use the link and use the instructions and i flash it thank you again everyone, another question do i need to upgrade the power supply? yes or no

12

Re: Help

Nope! New hotend consumes the same as old. Ignore any comments about updating your power supply, that's outdated.

Re: Help

Please i need HELP i got my E3D Hotend i follow the instructions from the video and looks good but i don't know where i need to connect the wires the fan and the other two please help i can wait to use it

Re: Help

Fan connects to the existing fan on the extruder motor, wire it in parallel (red to red, black to black).;

Heater connects to where your heater previously connected.

Thermistor connects to where your thermistor previously connected.

Heater and thermistor are labeled as such on your board, for example in the photo you posted above I can see "E-THERM". That's your extruder thermistor.
