I am pleased to report that another Filastruder, #437, has come online! (Image as attachment.)
I haven't printed the electronics enclosure yet, but that's on my list. Everything seems to be working as expected: switch 1 turns on the PID and the heater. Switch 2 turns on the fan and the motor. I know there's an auto-start feature available, but I wanted to start with the standard setup before trying variations. It gets to 180 C and settles there as expected. No resistance or unpleasant noises when the motor is turning. Fan is spinning in the correct direction.
I haven't run any plastic through it yet; I have some errands to run and I don't want to leave it unattended. But I wanted to go ahead and post my progress! Will run the supplied ABS pellets through it later today, and I have more on order.
