Topic: Higher resolution slicing settings

Is there a particular set of parameters that are ideal for skeinforge for slicing at .1mm? I want the objects to have more detail, and am having some issues.

Re: Higher resolution slicing settings

I would switch to Repetier host and Slic3r if you want to do .1mm layers. SD provides profiles for .1mm.

SD?

Does it still run on Python?

I am just getting the hang of Pronterface/skeinforge. Am I going to have to learn all over again?

Pronterface/Skeinforge is a joke.  Repetier host will make life much easier for you.

A lot of Linux folks still like Skeinforge. You'll notice it's still pretty widely used. It compares pretty well to some of the other alternatives. I think there needs to be a solution for folks who want less "747 cockpit" and more "press control P to print"

Just my 2 cents.
