Topic: E3D V5 Fan Mount?

Does anyone know where I can get a decent file of an E3D V5 fan mount for the heatsink? The one I got off of thingiverse was flimsy and snapped. I'm using wardjr's Solidoodle_Bulldog_XL_E3D_Carriage.

I've been having some clogging issues with PLA and am almost certain it is because I never installed this fan.

SD3, E3D Hot End,
Heated Glass Bed,
Bulldog XL Geared Metal Extruder

You're probably right about your clogging issues.  I've been having constant clogs on my v6 for a few weeks, and after the 4th teardown/clean/reassembly, I found out that the whole time the fan shroud on the heat sync was upside down...

As far as a decent file for the fan mount, I'm not sure, but filastruder does sell them for 99 cents (shipping is probably 3 dollars or so)

The fan is 100% needed. The instructions even say this.

The fan mount STL is on E3D's website:

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:114036

If that one snapped, your printer is way out of calibration.
