Topic: Bed Glass Warp Testing And Adjustment Questions
I have been using my printer without any issue for a few weeks. Things were working well enough that I only adjusted my bed 2 or 3 times over the course of 20+ prints and the only thing I did was clean the bed with alcohol every so often. I tweaked something and got my bed out of alignment and wanted to figure out as much as I could, so that later on I could adjust the bed from really way out (like if I took the printer to another location or someone turned knobs when I wasn't paying attention).
When looking at the front edge of the bed, it appears the glass or the plastic bed is warped. The edges of the glass are nearly flush with the top of the plastic, while the center is 'bowed' up about 2mm. Putting a straightedge across the glass shows its slightly bowed up, but not 2mm's worth.
Looking at the right hand side edge, I see a similar issue, but not as pronounced.
What do other's beds look like?
What would be an acceptable amount of warp in the glass?
