Topic: Extruder Cooling Down when it gets to the back of the bed Davinci 1.0A

hi guys has anyone else experienced a similar problem my extruder will heat up fine when its over its drip tray and while printing on the front half of the bed it also seems fine but as soon as it goes to the back of the bed its like the extruder loses power or something and starts to cool down rapidly causing it to click because its trying to get filament but unsuccessfully. if anyone has any ideas i would be very grateful.

Thanks.

It is the black connector above the extruder with the two white wires. It has very poor quality and looses connection. Your best option is to replace it with better connectors or just use wire nuts and connect the wires directly.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

I had the same issue.  Icut the connector off, soldered the wires and used electrical tape.  This also fixed my problem.
