Topic: adjustment for x axis belt SD4

Anyone with an Sd4 chime in and help me figure out how to tighten the X axis belt? the 3 y belts are easy to adjust but i don't see anything for the X..  i haven't seen a video that shows how to tighten this belt either... When i say X belt i mean the belt that moves the extruder left and right.  Thanks!

There are two bolts holding that belt onto the extruder assembly. The one on the right runs perpendicular to the belt; make sure it is tightened all the way. The one on the left can be turned clockwise to tighten the belt, and counter clockwise to loosen it. Hold the belt while you turn the bolt so the belt can't get twisted up. A minor amount of twisting won't hurt anything, it just looks bad.

You want to run the belt tight enough that tbere is no twang when the x axis moves left to right, and it shouldn't need to be much tighter than that. The X axis isn't really problematic for many people on the solidoodle.

thanks for the reply.. i took a small break from the printer and will look into your solution today.. ive been able to print a few things here and there but they never came out perfect like i wanted... but i want to remedy that issue..  ( i wanted to rip my hair out for a while )  Edit* i was able to tighten the belt.. But it didn't not fix my issues.  I think its an extrusion issue.. maybe to much. not sure.. But  you can see where the extruder picks up to start a new line.  say if its doing a cylinder  it goes around in a circle , picks up when it touches the other side and starts the next layer.. you can see it. it protrudes out on both sides.. other than that the prints look great...  the other thing i need to learn is how to use supports..
