Topic: SD3 enclosure

I was looking into ideas on how to enclose my sd3. I was initially looking at either glass or Plexiglas. But I came up with a much better solution. I had some Nomex (stuff they make fire suits out of). Its made to hold heat in or keep it out. Turned out to be a great enclosure and also very cheap. I'll post some pics this afternoon for those interested.

I wouldn't mind seeing it but I'm not sure why plexiglass, magnets, and weather stripping would not suffice.

SD4 w/ RUMBA, E3D Volcano, all bearings, glass bed
