Topic: FYI; Solidoodle don't do IRC support anymore..

There hasn't been a rep in the IRC channel in quite a while. In fact it was only ever John anyway, and he hasn't been on channel. And its also now removed from their "Contact Us" pages.

So only expect the usual level of community support if you wander in there smile

I can't speak for others but I feel that it is important for SD to have some presence amongst the community.  I personally don't frequent the IRC channel often but that may not be the case for some other users looking for input or advice directly from SD.
So for the sake of others, Hope to see you back in there.

It would be good to have a formal prescence again as there still seems to be the odd frustrated user turning up who then gets more frustrated when no one can answer questions like 'when will my printer ship' and 'i just got it and it doesn't work'... you know, stuff that the community can't really answer for them.

So yeah - thanks for popping back in again smile
