I just received my sd2 back from solidoodle for matienence...everything is working now gladly...i did a print in white abs with the print bed at 105degrees celsius and the extruder at 215degrees celsius  the print is all stringy weak and missing gaps...what could be the cause of this?

It wasnt as bad in the photo when it was on the bed but as you can see ...the model was supposed to be completely flat and solid no holes or indents

Get me a better picture it is difficult for me to tell with out good resolution or at least a better description of what you think is wrong.

Printit Industries Model 8.10 fully enclosed CoreXY, Chamber heat
3-SD3's & a Workbench all fully enclosed, RH-Slic3r Win7pro, E3D V6, Volcano & Cyclops Hot End

Re: Abs prints coming out stringy and weak!!!???

For starters I am guessing that is SD white ABS and That filament seems to absorb moisture quite easily.  In a nutshell I haven't had good luck with that particular filament.  Buy some Octave in the future you'll be happy you did.
Mostly you need some calibration so start here http://www.soliwiki.com/#Calibrations Focus on Steps/mm extruded.  Then work on extrusion multiplier by printing a simple 20mm cube 10 mm high with a single wall (perimeter) and no infill.  This is what you need to set the extrusion multiplier.  You will be aiming for .48 wall thickness instead of .42 like it says in the WIKI (.35 nozzle .42 and .40 nozzle .48)  You have a .40 nozzle and until you get at least these two things set it will be difficult to get good quality.  215 is about the right temp for that filament and 105 is perfect for the bed.
Have a whack at calibration and let me know if you have questions.

i cant find the marlin directory with arduino thats is shown in the vid for step calibration

Skip that and just change it in EEPROM  Check PM
