Topic: Stupid question for a stupid move

Do the thermistor and heater wires have specific red/black codings?
Like a moron, I removed the wire connectors (all 4 are red) from the receivers (all 4 red) and did not document with photos before said removal.....
I am now left with two black and two red wires. What is the safest way to figure out which is which????

Just to note on connectors, I swapped the connectors a few months ago from the stock ones. So the red/white/blue scheme from stock figuration is null.

Think I figured it out....black for thermistor and red for heater, right?

Trying to trace wires and it is a tad difficult, but it it what it looks like. I just don't want to risk SD/board damage or a fire. Thoughts?

Thermistor will measure around 97k ohms for ambient around 70F/22C, heater on the order of 3 to 5 ohms.

After getting some sleep and re-approaching it this evening, I found my theory was right. Kinda hard to trace wires in the dark at 11pm while trying not to wake a toddler in the same room smile

If this helps anyone at all, I purchased my SD2 in October 13. So the colors of wires may have changed (never know). But the "ET" connector on the board is the Extruder Thermistor. Whatever color wire comes from that, the heater should me different....unless you got a new techie
