Topic: Multi extruders on SD2?

It is possible to setup multiple extruders on a Solidoodle 2? I have seen the The Kraken  which is 4 but hard to imagine how that would work. Let's usde the bowden-fed Kraken as an example. How would that even work with a Solidoddle when there is one drive gear to thread filiment? What extra parts would I need? And how would that even work to have the software to know what parts to print with what filiment and what temps?

Are there dual options out there also?

Re: Multi extruders on SD2?

Bowden feed system times four (one for each nozzle).  Requires a different board like a Rumba (3 Extruders) or Azteeg x3
(4 Extruders).  Slic3r supports multiple extruders and you set the variables like temp for each extruder in your profile.
