Topic: Deformed Heating Bed? How can I tell?

My bed seems fairly messed up. At 2mm part of my bed has great distance from the head, but the other side leave no room. I've been playing around but to no avail. I thought I may have screwed down one side so hard that the plate deformed? But it seemed unlikely to me. This is not my printer and I really hope I did not break it. Are there any easy ways to calibrate or re-flatten the bed?

If the general consensus is the bed IS deformed, what would be the most tactful way to approach my employer?

Put a straight edge on it and see if it's warped.  If it's not to bad you can put a piece of cheap glass on it.  The plus side to this is your prints will stick better.
